These Terms apply to all unregistered visitors (“Visitors”, “You”), registered members (“Members”, “You”), content sellers and creators (“Quizmasters”, “You”) and others (“You”) who access or use the Site and its Services.
Please read the Terms of Use carefully before you start to use the Site and its Services.By accessing or using the Site and its Services you are agreeing to be bound by (1) these Terms of Use and (2) Veria’s Privacy Policy, found here, both of which are incorporated by hereby reference. If you disagree with any part of the terms and privacy policy, then you may not access the Site and its Services.
Furthermore, By using this Site and its Services, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Site and its Services.
1.1 Veria grants you a limited license to access the Site and its Services; however, Veria reserves the right to terminate and revoke any license granted to you to access and use the Site and its Services at any time, with or without notice. Veria always strives to keep the Site and its Services safe, secure, properly maintained, and functioning; however, we cannot assure or guarantee its continuous operation. We may terminate or suspend access to our Site and its Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach any part of these Terms and Veria’s Privacy Policy. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
1.2 The content of the Site and its Services and everything related in and to the Site and its Services including without limitation the name, logos, texts, script, source code, interactive features, existing and or future applications, databases, and the like are property of Veria and are subject to copyright under the law unless otherwise specified, credited or referenced by Veria in the site and its services as someone else’s.
1.3 The content you post as a member or as a quizmaster will remain yours. By posting your content, you are allowing Veria and its Site and Services to use and share this content to anyone through any media and use it for promotions and advertisements on any platform. Contents, posts and comments that include hate, insult, harassment, threatening language or the use of vulgar, defamatory, and offensive languages on any part or page of the Service will not be tolerated and may be removed, modified, or edited by Veria as we see fit.
1.4 By submitting or posting your content on our Service, you hereby grant us with a worldwide non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, copy, publish, display, transmit, distribute, modify, reproduce and process your content in any media or distribution methods including for marketing purposes and making your content available to third-party partners, including registered members and visitors, other companies and individuals or organizations who partner with Veria.
1.5 Any feedback, comment, suggestion, or idea you may provide or submit regarding the Site, its services, or its contents are voluntarily provided and will be free for us to use as we see fit, without any additional compensation to you. Furthermore, by acceptance of your feedback, comment, suggestion, or ideas, Veria does not waive the rights to use similar or related ideas.
1.6 The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Veria. Veria has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. By accessing or using the Site and its Services, you are therefore acknowledging and agreeing that Veria shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
Veria Concyclopedia is an online project that aims to develop and provide a platform wherein information and knowledge can be easily shared most particularly about the building construction industry, its standards, and practices. Our goal is to build an online community for individuals who would like to not only learn but also share their knowledge to others. Listed below are a few ground rules regarding the proper use and access of the Site and its Services.
3.1 In order to access some pages and features of the Service, you would have to register for a veriaconcyclopedia.com account. Using another member’s account, providing access to someone else, or transferring your account to someone else is prohibited. You may be held liable for the losses of Veria or others due to such unauthorized use.
3.2 When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information and must keep your account password secure. Veria may request information that may help verify your identity before you are allowed to submit content for Veria’s platform and Services. Veria also reserves the right to decline a registration to join Veria or to add an account of any type (ex. as a Quizmaster or as a member) for any lawful reason, including supply and demand, cost to maintain data, or other business considerations.
3.3 You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs in your account including for any harm or damage (to us or anyone else) caused by someone using your account without your permission. Veria shall not be responsible or liable directly or indirectly for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by your account activity. In case of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account, kindly notify Veria immediately. In the event of the death of a user, that user’s account will be closed.
3.4 Veria reserves the right to ban, restrict, reject or terminate your access and permission to use our platform and Services including your account at any time, with or without notice for any or no reason. You agree that we are not liable to you or any third party for the termination, suspension, or removal of your account, content, or your access to our Site and Services. Furthermore, any content you have provided and posted may still be available on the platform even if your account is terminated, suspended, or removed.
4.1.1 Quizmasters create content on the Site that can be purchased by registered members.
4.1.2 When publishing content, quizmasters will be asked to set a price. Alternatively, quizmasters can make the content free for use by all registered members of the site by inputting "0" as the content's price.
4.1.3 A revenue equal to 85% of the quizmaster’s set content price will be accredited to the quizmaster’s account with each content the quizmaster sells.
4.1.4 Quizmasters are responsible and in charge of payments for any direct or indirect taxes, including VAT or income tax, which may apply to them depending on their location or under the provisions of their jurisdiction. The prices shown on the quizzes page are set by the quizmaster according to the quizmaster’s preference and are inclusive of all such taxes and charges that may apply to the quizmaster.
4.1.5 By creating and publishing their content on the Site, the quizmaster hereby appoints Veria, its Site, and its Services to accept payments from the registered members who purchased their content and remit those payments to the quizmaster. The quizmaster agrees that the payment made by the registered member to Veria shall be considered the same as made directly to the quizmaster and the payment will be satisfied once Veria remits the funds in the manner described in these Terms of Use to the quizmaster through Payment Service Providers.
4.1.6 By publishing their content on the Site, the quizmaster hereby agrees to give Veria, its Site, and its Services the permission to share the content for free with our selected partners. The quizmaster also agrees that he/she will not receive payment and compensation for such activity.
4.1.7 Quizmasters must own a Paypal account to withdraw their revenue. Revenues may only be made available for withdrawal following a safety clearance of 7 days after the purchase is made. Withdrawals can only be made in the amount available for the quizmaster and withdrawal fees may vary depending on Paypal’s Fees. Furthermore, once a withdrawal request is submitted, it cannot be undone.
As a registered member, Veria will be giving you the license to access and view the content you have paid for solely for your own personal, non-commercial use in accordance with the duration of access or subscription you have paid for. When your subscription or access expires, your access to the content will be terminated. You may, however, repurchase the content to regain durational access to it. The duration of access to a quiz will be dependent on the access specified by the Quizmaster. However, Veria reserves the right to terminate and revoke any license to access and use any content at any time, with or without notice for any or no reason, including any violation of these terms, upon request of law enforcement or government agencies, for unexpected technical issues or problems and the like.
The prices shown on the quizzes page are set by the quizmaster according to the quizmaster’s preference. Veria's Site Service fees that cover administrative fees are added at the check-out page where buyers can review the total purchase amount. Veria uses Payment Service Providers to collect, transfer and remit payments from quizmasters and registered members. By creating a purchase, the buyer agrees to receive invoices and payment receipts from Veria in electronic form by email or through the Site. Veria may be required by law to charge users with indirect taxes or withhold taxes. Any amount collected for such charges will be in addition to the total purchase amount.
Refunds will not be provided for any content or service that is already purchased.

Content on the Site and its Services are provided as-is for your information and personal use only. Downloading, copying, modifying, producing, reproducing, distributing, transmitting, selling, licensing, translating, publishing, or exploiting the content for any other purposes without prior written consent from Veria is not allowed.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements or that the information and educational content provided by the Service are error-free, accurate, safe, and secure. By using the Service, you hereby agree that Veria is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, safety, or intellectual property rights of or relating to such texts and that you may be exposed to inaccurate, offensive, objectionable information. Furthermore, by using the Service, you hereby agree to waive any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against Veria and its owners/operators and agree to indemnify and hold Veria and its owner/operators harmless to the fullest extent allowed by law regarding all matters related to your use of the site.
Veria does not hire quizmasters and will not be liable for disputes, losses, damages, injuries, or claims of any kind that may arise out of the quizmaster, the buyer, or a registered member’s conduct or for any interactions involved between the quizmasters and the content buyer.
In no event shall Veria and its owners and operators be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, penal, resulting or consequential and special damages whatsoever resulting from any errors or inaccuracies of content; personal and bodily injury; property, moral or material damage of any nature whatsoever resulting from your use and access of the service.
Furthermore, Veria and its owners and operators shall not be liable or held accountable for any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or any similar computer viruses which may be transmitted to or through the service by any third party or for any losses or damages of any kind from personal and financial information stored in our secure servers as a result of unauthorized access.
Moreover, you specifically acknowledge that Veria and its owners and operators shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of any content from the service and Veria.
The service is operated by Veria from the Philippines and makes no representations that the Service and its contents are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access or use the service from other locations and jurisdictions do so at their own will and are responsible for compliance with their local law.
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. This Terms of Use and is effective as of 08/25/2021 and will remain in effect until when its provisions are revised and amended in the future. We will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes as material change will be determined at our sole discretion and such revisions and amendments will take effect immediately after being posted on this page.
